I used some of my bar mitzvah money to buy my first CD, "Kermit Unpigged" by
The Muppets. It was 1994, I had just recieved a cd player - the first first music player that was just for me. I shut my door and blasted such classic tunes as "Bein' Green" by Kermit The Frog, and "Wild Thing" by Animal, Floyd & Kermit The Frog.
I fully own my geekdom and look forward to my own kids buying the NFT of that cover one day.
The first thing I can ever remember buying is Halo 3. I was in elementary school and loved games and wanted it so badly at the time. My parents were never very wealthy so I started doing yard work and mowing lawns for everyone I could to save up for this game I was so excited for. I remember being at school and getting home to find out my parents picked up the literal last copy of Halo 3 in town during day one release and was absolutely stoked. Halo will always have a special place in my heart.
