Spirit Seed Update: Exciting Times!

What a very exciting update we have for Spirit Seeds this week. We've officially sold out of Spirit Seeds! NFT LA is hardly more than a week away and with VIP passes alone selling out at $3000-$3500 USD we're pleased to say that Spirit Seed holders are getting a ton of Value from the VIP passes they're entitled to.

Questions abound though, about how the VIP access is redeemed, and if there's any way to still get a Spirit Seed or VIP ticket. We're happy to announce the details of how eager Spirit Seed holders can redeem their VIP passes, or how they can transfer/sell/trade them if they so choose.

Here's the timeline:

Monday, March 21: VIP vouchers will be delivered to Spirit Seed holder wallets as separate Polygon NFTs.

At this point (appx. 6-8pm Pacific Time US, March 21, 2022) VIP NFT LA passes will no longer be guaranteed to be attached to Spirit Seeds. The two items will be separate from one another. This means that any Spirit Seed holder who has a VIP Voucher may also transfer/sell/trade it on the open market (e.g. OpenSea) separately from their Spirit Seed. If a Spirit Seed holder sells their VIP voucher after this point they relinquish their right to a VIP ticket–holding a Spirit Seed alone does not guarantee VIP access to NFT LA. The separate VIP Voucher NFT must be redeemed for the VIP ticket.

To redeem a VIP ticket send the VIP Voucher NFT back to its home wallet (0xD9e2fdd619d666854b6215c6D695F22a4751B30F)

and email eathan@edgeofnft.com with your transaction hash and the Full Name and email of the intended VIP ticket holder.

Reminder: anyone who sells, transfers or trades away their Spirit Seed prior to March 21st relinquishes their right to an NFT LA VIP ticket.

Friday, March 25: This is the final date by which the owner of a VIP Voucher NFT should transfer it to the home wallet (0xD9e2fdd619d666854b6215c6D695F22a4751B30F)

and email eathan@edgeofnft.com with their transaction hash and the Full Name and email of the intended VIP ticket holder.* Finalizing your ticket access by this date at noon Pacific Time ensures the VIP ticket holder receives white glove service status from NFT LA crew.

After NFT LA there will still be a ton of value packed into Spirit Seeds so hold on tight for more great perks, like a chance at one of ten of Nicole Buffett's Spirit Coin NFTs which each include the physical art!

Living Tree Update: Inspiration & Branching Out

Just as a mighty Oak grows from a tiny acorn, the living tree NFT collection is set to explode into a force that not only grows and grows our ecosystem, but also a force that inspires the creativity and ingenuity of other creators.

Did you know that Living Tree NFTs have their roots in a creative project that Eathan, our co-founder, began over a decade ago? He was fascinated with the concept of creativity and all of the various ways we define it. Creativity is seen in business, art, music, problem solving, math and many more domains. That’s despite the fact that some of these domains seem unrelated. In a sense, the definition of creativity is not one thing but a branching concept that spreads its reach into innumerable arenas. At the time, he sought to graphically and interactively envision all these branching concepts. But that also led him to become fascinated with tree structures and the natural aesthetics baked into them.

By its nature, the creative process takes us on twists and turns that we’d never have expected!

Which leads us to share some very fun and exciting developments. Other artists and creators have been so inspired by the Living Trees that they’ve been imagining all the directions we can take in branching out from the original Living Tree concept.

They approached us, intrigued by Living Trees, and wanting to build an even more expansive forest of creativity than was originally imagined. Even though our original Living Tree NFT collection is set to be a 2D art project it does open our minds to the fascinating possibilities allowed by moving into 3D, AR and VR space! For now, we’ve given them an inside look at the algorithms behind living tree and they are drumming up all sorts of fascinating creations based upon what we started from!
